金秋时节，伦敦清华学校迎来了四十周年的辉煌庆典。十一月十日，清华全体教师、特邀嘉宾、董事、家长以及现任和前任学生们齐聚荣泰大酒店，共同庆祝这一重要时刻。室外，金黄的落叶在风中翩翩起舞，仿佛在热情地欢迎每一位来宾的到来；室内，温馨的布置营造出一派和谐的氛围。五彩缤纷的气球点缀四周，大屏幕播放着清华学校四十年发展的珍贵回忆画面，勾起了无数美好的回忆。新朋老友欢聚一堂，笑声与祝福声此起彼伏，洋溢着无比的喜悦与温馨。
在庆典现场，尊敬的清华董事会主席商惠芬女士发表致辞，正式拉开了四十周年庆典的序幕。李波校长端庄优雅，身着典雅的旗袍，以真挚的言辞感谢了所有支持清华的朋友们。李校长回顾了清华一路走来的风雨历程，并展望了学校的美好未来，激励在场的每一位。接着，清华的杰出校友王磊分享了他在清华学习和成长的点滴经历。他深情地回忆道，在清华学校的每节课都令他难忘，那些课堂不仅丰富了他的知识，也深深影响了他的人生。清华之所以能够稳步发展，离不开大家的支持，尤其是董事陈君伟先生的无私奉献与慷慨赞助，感动了清华的每一个人。他的无怨无悔地支持，成为清华稳步前行的重要基石。
庆典当晚，清华全体师生精心准备了丰富多彩的节目表演。首先登场的是十二位身穿白色纱裙的学生，她们表演的《小星星》，正式揭开了文艺表演的帏幕。舞台上，十二颗闪烁的小星星象征着清华的希望与未来，仿佛在引领学校迈向更加辉煌的明天。随后，清华全体董事和教师们齐声合唱《伦敦清华学校校歌》，深情的歌声令在场的每一位动容。在生日歌声中，我们共同点燃蜡烛，为清华学校许下美好心愿。接着，陈君伟先生切下生日蛋糕——第一刀，象征着清华走过的四十年辉煌历程；李波校长切下第二刀，则预示着学校未来的甜蜜与美好。每一位在场的师生、家长和嘉宾都沉浸在这一温馨的时刻，共同见证了清华的成长与辉煌。成人班的祝福让大家笑容满面，而郜老师和唐老师的新疆舞更是展现了中国文化的独特之美。正如俗话所说，“人逢喜事精神爽”，清华表演队的演出更加烘托了庆典的氛围，现场热烈又欢乐。清华学校人才济济，安妮同学的歌声清澈动人，曲调欢快，带动大家情不自禁地跟随旋律舞动。
喜悦的气氛弥漫着整个餐厅。精彩纷呈的节目、美味的食物，伴随着与老友的畅谈和与新友的探讨，欢声笑语中流露出无尽的温馨与愉悦。美妙的旋律在空气中轻轻飘荡，这一切交织成难忘的回忆。这，正是庆典的意义所在。清华表演队的服装秀更是令人眼前一亮，三四岁到十四五岁的学生们身穿各色民族服饰走上舞台，展示出中华文化的丰富多彩与博大精深。除了校内师生的精彩演出，晚会更是有幸邀请到多位艺术家前来助阵。 宋沧鸥老师的歌声宛如涓涓细流，优美动人；著名女高音歌唱家王晨老师的表演更让大家仿佛置身于伦敦大剧院，富有感染力的歌声赢得阵阵掌声。歌舞团独舞演员何依依老师带来的东北舞别具一格，展现了民族风情的另一种美。著名笛子演奏家郭跃先生的表演更将庆典推向了高潮，悠扬的笛声动人心弦，让人沉醉其中。由乔森先生和谢莎小姐伴舞，清华全体教师演唱的贝加尔湖畔为我们的庆典画上了圆满的句号。

Report on the 40th Anniversary Celebration of Qinghua Chinese School, London
In the golden autumn season, Qinghua Chinese School, celebrated its grand 40th anniversary. On November 10th, all Qinghua teachers, special guests, committee members, parents, and current and former students gathered at the Wing Tai restaurant to commemorate this milestone. Outside, golden leaves danced in the wind, warmly welcoming each guest; inside, the deco created a harmonious atmosphere. The venue was adorned with colourful balloons, and a large screen displayed cherished memories of Qinghua’s four-decade journey, evoking countless fond recollections. Old friends and new acquaintances gathered, with laughter and blessings filling the air, creating an ambiance of joy and warmth.
At the ceremony, esteemed Chairwoman of the Qinghua committee, Dr. Huifen Shang Yang, delivered a speech, formally opening the 40th-anniversary celebration. Principal Bo Li, dressed elegantly in a traditional Cheongsam, expressed sincere gratitude to all who have supported Qinghua. She reflected on the school’s journey and shared her vision for its promising future, inspiring everyone present. Following this, distinguished alumnus Lei Wang shared his experiences of studying and growing at Qinghua, recalling how each lesson left a lasting impact on him, enriching his knowledge and deeply influencing his life. Qinghua’s steady growth is inseparable from everyone’s support, especially the selfless contributions and generous sponsorship of committee member Mr. Philip Chin, who has touched everyone at Qinghua with his unwavering dedication, forming a solid foundation for the school's advancement.
The evening celebration featured a vibrant line-up of performances, meticulously prepared by all Qinghua students and teachers. The show began with twelve students dressed in white chiffon dresses performing “Little Star,” officially unveiling the evening’s artistic segment. On stage, the twelve twinkling stars symbolized Qinghua’s hopes and future, seemingly guiding the school towards greater brilliance. Next, the entire committee and faculty sang Qinghua School’s anthem, the heartfelt voices moving everyone present. With the birthday song, we lit candles and made a wish for Qinghua’s bright future. Mr. Philip Chin cut the birthday cake, the first slice symbolizing Qinghua’s 40 years of glorious history, and Principal Bo Li cut the second slice, signifying the sweet and prosperous future ahead. Every teacher, student, parent, and guest immersed themselves in this warm moment, witnessing Qinghua’s growth and accomplishments together.
The adult class conveyed their warm wishes, filling the room with smiles, while Teachers Gao and Tang presented a Xinjiang dance, showcasing the unique beauty of Chinese culture. As the saying goes, "Happiness refreshes the spirit," and the Qinghua Performance Troupe’s show further elevated the festive atmosphere, making the venue lively and joyful. Qinghua is full of talented individuals; Anni Sui’s clear and delightful singing filled the air, her cheerful tune prompting everyone to sway to the rhythm.
Joyful energy filled the entire banquet hall. With captivating performances and delicious food, friends old and new engaged in heartfelt conversations, filling the atmosphere with endless warmth and joy. The beautiful melodies floated gently through the air, creating unforgettable memories. This was the essence of the celebration. The Qinghua Performance Troupe’s fashion show was particularly dazzling, with students ranging from ages three to fourteen wearing various traditional ethnic costumes, showcasing the rich diversity and profound depth of Chinese culture. Beyond the performances by teachers and students, the evening was honoured to feature several guest artists.
Teacher Cang-Ou Song’s singing was as gentle as a flowing stream, graceful and touching. The celebrated soprano, Ms. Chen Wang, delivered a performance that transported the audience to the London Theatre, her powerful voice drawing waves of applause. Dance troupe soloist Ms. Yi-Yi He presented a unique North-eastern dance, offering a distinctive display of cultural charm. Renowned flute artist Mr. Yue Guo brought the celebration to a climax, his melodious flute playing touching everyone’s hearts and leaving the audience mesmerized. Accompanied by dancers Mr Johnson Feng and Ms. Seline Xie, the Qinghua faculty choir’s rendition of “Lake Baikal” brought our celebration to a memorable close.
The entire Qinghua committee and faculty sincerely thank all friends who attended the celebration. It is with your support and companionship that Qinghua continues to move forward. Let us work hand in hand, looking forward to our next reunion, as we witness an even brighter future for Qinghua!
