Mrs Bo Clarke 李波 BSc Born in Changchun, northeast China and educated at Beijing Jiao Tong University. Mrs Clarke previously worked at Shen Zhen Great Wall Computer Company and Changchun Railway Electronic Research Company in China. She has taught at Qinghua School for over 15 years. Mrs Clarke passionately believes in using education to expand minds and horizons. She also maintains that the work of the Qinghua School is to give its students the confidence to communicate effectively which then opens the door to the riches of the Chinese culture. |

Ms. Helen LiHua Zhao 赵丽华 Ms Zhao is graduate of the Beijing Foreign Affairs College in English in China. While living in London, she gained a qualification of Teaching Mandarin as a Foreign language at the Ming Ai Institute, London. Ms Zhao works as a part time CCTV News producer. She joined the Qinghua teaching staff in 2011. She believes that a good understanding of the culture will encourage students to learn the language. She also teaches at Ealing for the Pre-GCSE Class. |

Dr. Huifen SHANG YANG 商惠芬 BA & MA in Education, PhD in Applied Linguistics Ms Shang Yang has extensive experience of teaching in pre-school nurseries, secondary schools and universities in Taiwan, UK and continental Europe. As one of the joint founders of Qinghua School, she is passionate about working closely with a team of dedicated teachers who, together, help their pupils develop a life-long interest in Chinese language and culture. |

Ms Shilu Song 宋师璐 Ms. Song originally came from the Liaoning Province in North East China, and has lived in the UK for over 20 years. She has a master degree in IT and management, and has been working in a College since 2012. Ms. Song is a highly motivated teacher and enjoys teaching and working with children. She believes understanding a language is the key to access the richness of its culture. |

Ms Tan Yulong 谭玉龙 Ms Tan is originally from Guangdong in China and moved in UK in 2005. She speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin. She graduated from a college in China with a degree in computing science. Ms Tan joined Qinghua in 2017 as a teaching assistant and a supply teacher. She now teaches Class 2A in the Harrow branch. Ms Tan loves working with children and hopes to inspire children to understand Chinese language and culture through her work at Qinghua. Ms Tan completed the Ming-Ai (London) Institute,Teaching Chinese as a Foreigh Language (Mandarin) Certificate of Achievement in July 2019. |

Ms Lim ChweeChen 林翠青 Ms. Lim is originally from Malaysia and has been in the UK since 2007. She obtained her BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and MSc in Building Procurement and Contracts from University of Malaya. She worked as a Senior Cost Consultant in London. She is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and Member of Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB). Ms. Lim enjoys teaching and working with children and is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for language learning. Ms. Lim’s vision for her students is for them to develop their ability to communicate in the Chinese Language and speak as often as possible, especially in the classroom. |

Ms Juan Watine 于娟 Fascinated by languages, Mrs. Juan Watine completed her Master’s degree in Applied Translation Studies at London Metropolitan University in 2005. She then gained the certificate for Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language at SOAS, the University of London, in 2010. As a mum to two young boys, she enjoys working with children and understands how to engage with them effectively. Working as a full-time HR professional in one of the renowned companies in the UK, she is proud to be involved in teaching Chinese and promoting Chinese culture in our community. |

Ms Shi PeiLing Sleeman 施佩伶 Originally from Taiwan and a graduate from the University of Brighton. She is a qualified Level 3 teaching assistant and has experience working in a UK primary school for over 2 years. She enjoys teaching and working with children and believes that parental support at home is equally as important as learning in the classroom. Mrs Sleeman joined Qinghua teaching team in September 2019. |

Ms Gao LiPing 郜丽萍 Originally from Northern China, Ms Gao joined the Qinghua teaching staff in 2001. She thoroughly enjoys teaching Chinese to pupils, particularly children and young adults. She would like to inspire more people in the wider community to attend Qinghua language classes. |

Mrs Yue Forth 卓越 Mrs Forth graduated from Minjiang University in China and, for several years, worked at the Association of Literature and Arts in Fujian, followed by a teaching position in a high school in China. Ms Forth joined the Qinghua teaching staff in 2007. |

Ms Chen Li 陈礼 She has an MA degree in Hospitality Management and a BA degree in Business Marketing from West London University. Ms Chen has lived in London since 2002, and was originally from the Henan province in central China. Ms Chen is always passionate about teaching the Mandarin Chinese language and is eager to make progressions with her students on their learning journey. Ms Chen is currently working as software operation support specialist in a High Tech company during the week. |

Ms Li JiaJun 栗嘉君 Ms Li obtained her BCom and MSc from the University of Sydney and UNSW Australia with Distinction. She always has the passion in teaching and sharing comprehensive learning methodologies. She aims to create an engaging and vibrant, and most importantly, stimulating environment where the student can learn Mandarin in a fun way. She believes knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom. |

Ms Song Cang’Ou Lily 宋沧鸥 Ms Song graduated from Harbin Normal University in China. She obtained the certificate of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Mandarin) in Ming-Ai (London) Institute. Ms Song has 13 years of teaching experience in China. She has a wealth of experience in educating children, adolescents and adults. She enjoys capturing students’ interest in Chinese culture. She instils confidence in all her students by making learning fun and interesting. It is very important to her that her students feel safe, happy and successful in her classroom. |

Ms Tang Yin Mei 唐银梅 Ms Tang has been teaching Mandarin in the main-stream schools in London since 2007; however, she joined the Qinghua Chinese School much earlier. She loves working with children and also enjoys teaching the adult classes. In her day school she is specialised in teaching conversational Mandarin since last year and she is also an experienced GCSE Mandarin speaking examiner. |

Ms Ma Yan 马琰 Teacher Ma graduated from Henan University of Urban Construction with a degree in Architectural Design and furthered her education by studying Business Management at the SOAS in London. Chinese is her mother tongue. She believes that language learning is not only about grammar and vocabulary but also about understanding the culture and context in which the language is used. She aims to inspire her students with the Chinese language and culture by sharing her knowledge and experiences. |

Ms Wang Chao 王超 Ms Wang graduated from Qinghai University in South West China. She worked for the local broadcast station during collage time and has been a trainee to be a Mandarin language teacher at Qinghua Chinese School. Ms Wang is totally committed to providing students with the necessary tools to achieve academic goals, instilling love of learning and cooperative teamwork. Ms Song HongXia Alice 宋红霞 Ms. Song has lived in the UK since 2002. She is from Henan province in central China. She has an MSc in Horticulture and MA degree in Landscape Architecture. She is a qualified life coach and public speaker. She loves plants, animals, and children. She is currently working as a professional relationship coach. She obtained her Certificate in the teaching of the Chinese language from the Goldsmiths, University of London in 2018. She also has teaching experience at the college. Ms Shirley Zhang 张雪丹 Miss Zhang, is a native Mandarin speaker with a master’s degree in MBA. She taught Mandarin since 2018 after she got the Chinese teaching qualification in the UK. She is passionate about teaching, particularly writing. She has demonstrated excellent classroom management skills and effectiveness in educating students of all learning abilities. She’s always striving to improve her students’ academic performance and practical skill. |

Ms Li XiaoYing 李小英 Ms Li studied dance in China from very young age. As a professional dancer, she has performed in China and Hungary. Since 1999, Ms Li has taught the dancing class at Qinghua, including Chinese folk dances and basic ballet practice. The Qinghua dancing group not only performs at school, but also participates in cultural performances organised by the UK Federation of Chinese Schools – winning competition prizes in 2011, 2012 and 2013. |
