About Qing Hua 伦敦清华学校

Qinghua Chinese School, one of the oldest Chinese schools in the UK, was established in October 1984. The school began with just 27 students and 5 teachers at the Greenford Community Centre. Our aim is to provide education in both Chinese language and culture to all ages and backgrounds.

In the early years, there was very limited government or external funding available, and all the teachers were volunteers. However, through the hard work, dedication, and determination of the founding members, teaching staff, and parents, Qinghua steadily grew from its humble beginnings.

The school expanded in 1985 with the establishment of its Brent branch, followed shortly by branches in Harrow and Ealing. In 1993, the Qinghua Chinese School Charitable Trust was officially registered.

Qinghua Chinese School is approaching its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of nurturing generations of students. Over the years, Qinghua has watched its students grow from toddlers into accomplished young adults. Many of these students have gone on to attend elite universities worldwide and have pursued successful careers in various fields, including education, finance, law, medicine, design, and the arts.

Every year, our GCSE classes students achieve high marks, ranging from A to A*. To meet the evolving needs of our students and make learning the language even more rewarding, Qinghua School also arranges HSK and YCT exams for those interested in taking these tests.

At Qinghua Chinese School, we are committed to making the process of learning Chinese a joyful and motivating experience. Our carefully designed activities and curriculum are crafted to captivate students' interests and stimulate their curiosity.

伦敦清华学校是英国创建最早的中文学校之一，成立于1984年10月。学校最初在格林福德社区中心开办，只有27名学生和5名教师。我们的目标是为所有年龄和背景的学生提供中文语言和文化的教育。

在早期，学校几乎没有获得政府或外部资金支持，所有教师都是志愿者。然而，通过创始成员、教学团队和家长们的辛勤工作、奉献和决心，伦敦清华学校从最初的谦逊起点稳步发展。

学校于1985年扩展，在布伦特成立了分校，不久后又在哈罗和依岭建立了分校。1993年，伦敦清华学校慈善基金会正式注册。

伦敦清华学校即将迎来40周年庆，标志着我们在过去四十年里培养了几代学生。多年来，清华见证了学生们从幼儿成长为有成就的年轻人。许多学生后来进入世界各地的顶尖大学，并在教育、金融、法律、医学、设计和艺术等各个领域取得了成功的职业生涯。

每年，我们GCSE班的学生都会取得优异的成绩: A to A*.  为了满足学生的需求，并使语言学习变得更加有意义，伦敦清华学校还为有兴趣的学生安排了HSK和YCT考试。
